I think I found what triggers this, which I believe there's not an actual fix for that, but isn't a problem either.- the plugin retrieving coordinates on the surface of the About window and not just on the surface of the skin window
If you right click on the skin, you'll notice the Mouse plugin will work fine on the Context Menu. However, this means it also works on any part of Rainmeter:
If it was "fixed" then it wouldn't work on the Context Menu either, which wouldn't be a real fix, since it working on the Context Menu is actually a feature.
I think the bug you faced was caused by the already solved problem, which made RM hang and thus keep reacting on the About window.
To avoid the plugin from reacting on the context menu, and thus other RM windows, one should make sure to stop it before opening the context menu to avoid it from behaving on an unwanted way.
