I get the same on Window 10, a normally positioned skin, Notepad++ and Chrome. The manual on the Normal positioning says:Hey all, I think this is an application issue and not a skin issue, but feel free to correct me.
I have my Rainmeter skin set to the "Normal" position, which I assume means it's supposed to stay wherever I put it until I interact with it or place something else on top of it. Now say for example I have Discord on the screen, with the skin on top of Discord, and a third application open (let's say a browser)... whenever I minimise the browser, my Rainmeter skin moves behind Discord.
I've tried this with Discord, Steam and Chrome and made sure none of them are set to always on top or anything. Whenever the skin is on top of another application and a third application is minimised, the skin moves to the back. It's not refreshing or reloading, just moving.
This is on Windows 11. Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks.
Now, either such windows are not "normal windows" which I doubt at least when it comes to Notepad++, or the click is actually required to bring the skin to foreground - even though its position was in fact in the foreground previously, before minimizing the 3rd window aka the browser (the behavior happens not just when minimizing the 3rd window, but also when restoring it after being minimized, by the way). This doesn't seem to be related to the order in which the 3 applications (including Rainmeter) are started / ran.The skin will stay visible when showing the desktop {Win-D} and will be brought to the foreground of all other normal windows, including other skins, on click.
Personally, I'm not sure what to say, whether this is the normal / expected behavior or not, guven that it's not explicitly mentioned in the manual...
